self sufficient three year old

it appears that i have one of the most self sufficient three year olds ever, or so i'd like to believe. Eli is currently potty training Cope, who is about 19 months old. Now Eli was the easiest child in the world to potty train. He woke up...he put on his big boy undies and it was done. very few accidents, no training, no convincing.....he just did it at about 2 and a few months.
well now he is taking on the task of teaching his brother. there is a talk before hand, some encouragement in a really high voice and i am not sure if Eli
is imitating me or if he is just excited. there is some dancing around then a short demonstration by Eli on the big potty. and then it begins, eli removes Cope's shorts and diaper, talks him through it, sits him down and when it happens he claps and cheers and calls me into the bathroom and brags about Cope, and what they have done. then he takes out the removable tray that catches the wonderful deeds and they go to the big potty. they say their goodbyes as Eli explains that it will go to the sewer with the alligators and the flushing begins.....they continue to the sink and turn the water on really hot and get the soap to rinse out the tray, but the water is too hot and no body wants to put their hand in it....so i turn it on cold and put the tray back while they wash their hands.....then the whole thing either starts all over or they go there separate ways.....now Eli knows full well what is going on, but the funny thing is I dont think that Cope has any idea as to what is happening.....but all Cope has to do is say the words and they are at it again.....or if Eli just feels like Cope needs to go potty, he takes it upon himself to start the ritual. i am not sure if this is normal, but if Eli actually potty trains him.....i will be amazed and shocked and very lucky!
