Jack Daeland's Nursery

we have officially finished the nursery!!! so we are ready for jack to be here....we are anxiously awaiting jack to be here! we did not think it would really come down to the week of christmas and he would not be here! the dates i thought have come and gone....the dates we didnt want, have come and gone.....but fortunately for everyone else, who picked dates....they may get their wish! it seemed convenient for almost everyone that he would come this week.....sometime between the 22nd and the 27th.....but after that it starts to be a little inconvenient again...so i guess we will have to wait and see, but at least his room is ready!
i have even added a picture of my ever growing belly for all those who have asked(i am not sure why i look so angry at the fire pit, but it is the only side view i have that is recent)....it is very large, i know and realize, i am feeling the pain from carrying it around with me everywhere i go and sleeping with it everynight and trying to find shirts that will cover it....oh yeah and crawling into a mcdonalds playground....all the way to the top to save my 2 year old who was stuck and horrified!
so we only have 10 more days to count down....december 31st...thats our focus! but if he decided to be here before then, we are prepared and super super excited, i cant wait to meet him and see his tiny little hands and feet! YAY Baby Jack!!!

roper mountain lights

we went to see the christmas lights at roper mountain last week! the boys loved the lights and we drove through twice. we stopped and roasted marshmellows and we got to meet santa.....again! and again eli wanted nothing to do with him. he said "youre not the santa i talked to at home depot" we have tried to explain to him all the "helpers" and santa is a busy man....everything......i just dont know if my first born child will every believe this santa business!!! cope doesnt mind, he will sit with him, he ask for christmas trees....he doesnt really get whats going on....i better get all the pictures of him i can with santa, because next year he may be like eli! i thought it was a given that you believe in santa....i didnt know you had to convince them!

the boys

some random pictures of all the boys lately! we have decorated for christmas, finished our christmas projects and even made a house from the new dishwasher box!

its almost christmas!

the boys met santa the other day when we went to buy the tree! they were so weirded out and confused...it was funny! then we saw santa again on a class field trip to chick- fil- a....eli wouldnt sit on his lap again....all he would say is "i just saw you at home depot and told you what i wanted"

new camera...more pictures!

we went to eli's first class party for halloween! it was so cute and the kids were too funny. after the party the school held a parade in the gym for all the kids to sport their hats they had made, funny hats not scary!

Eli on his first field trip.... went to the pumpkin patch. we went on a hayride and through a corn field maze. there was an alligator alley and assortment of farm animals....the kids got to pick pumpkins before we left.i have never spent so much time with so many 3-4 year olds! i was overly exhausted at the end of the field trip!

Eli, Connor and Cope at the new park we found with Carolyn, we seem to spend a lot of days after school here, while the weather is nice!

we are back in business!!!!

pictures of eli finishing his soccer practice, he has completed almost ever sport he is allowed to play and at the end, they receive a ball of their own to keep. we are currently playing basketball now, i will be glad to have our tuesday nights back to ourselves again!

pictures from our halloween, i was a "jack" o latern, and the boys were super heroes!!!! we went to an extremely fun party at a friends house with good food and games, the kids got fun prizes. we went trick or treating through the neighborhood. the kids racked up on candy and when we got back to the house, eli graciously handed out his candy to the other kids. he thought it was so fun to give away candy, not even caring it was his he just collected.

pictures of the new room, now we just have to get some paint on the walls...the kids new home.they love his room, they trash this room. they go crazy in this room. i love this room.

No Camera :-( No Pictures :-(

well you definitely never realize how much you love and use your camera and computer....we have had trouble with both. so i can give you all the new news in our lives, but there are no pictures to back it up, i apologize. for some people that is very important....eli will not even look at a book with out pictures!
well the construction on the house id finished! it is wonderful, its like living in a whole new house! the boys love love love it! so much more room to run around and be crazy. so we made it basically into a playroom/sitting room/den type room.which is great, all the toys seem to stay in that room for the most part and i dont have to go in that room, unless i want to...the next project will be to finish the drywall, sand it down and paint (Japanese Fern Green), finish the windows and repaint one kitchen wall that was torn out, but first we must finish the nursery!
the nursery will officially be started this weekend after all our trick or treating business is said and done! any volunteers would be appreciated!
we went to the kids first halloween party and they had a blast! they were so cute in their costumes, again pictures would help....
we went to a pumpkin patch on sunday....and i tell you what, they are no comparison to the pumpkin patches in california (thats sorta hard to compete with).....the kids had fun but it is not at all what i was expecting! it had everything that the website said it would have, just the delivery and presentation was not at all like the fall time festival that i had pictured in my head, but they had fun!
maybe sometime in the near future i will be able to post pictures....maybe some one will send me some pictures from all these events we have been going to.....i guess we will have to see. i may be taking a disposable camera into the delivery room when jack decides to make his entrance...lets hope not!

House Construction...halfway done!

this WAS the garage door....now its two 7 foot windows that light up the whole room....an incredible difference it looks great from the outside as well, but I am still in my PJs....dont think the neighbors need to know me that well....

So very exciting for us...the guys are moving right along on the house...unfortunately I dont have a lot of "before" pictures of the garage door, but I think for those who have never seen it....if you close your eyes and imagine a wooden garage door....poorly hung, terrible wiring, an ugly security light, again poorly wired (and it would shake a lot when you opened and closed it) and the door itself was too small for the truck to go through without taking the mirrors off.....thats what it was before our brilliant idea.....we could turn this space into a room instead of a junk collection....perfect timing with a third boy in route. .

When it is all said and done next week...this wall will be gone, connecting the kitchen and our newly finished garage turned new room....

Cope's Birthday!!!

troubled trio of threes....
up to no good I'm sure

I can not believe he is two! Two years already, they have gone so fast! It feels like just last week my water broke playing with Eli and Uncle Thomas had to come to the rescue while we went to the hospital to deliver him...and its been two years!
We had his party on Sunday at Cleveland Park, we had a lovely turn out. The kids had fun running around crazy and the adults were entertained with a game of drinking kickball that we happened to reserve a shelter right beside....go me! It was all in good fun though...Cope is very blessed with wonderful family and friends, he ran his little heart out trying to keep up with the three year old trio....they are unstoppable!!! We had delicious cake and he opened lots of fabulous gifts(they will look great in the playroom being added to the house as we speak i will try and get pictures up soon) courtesy of mommy, daddy,"li li", papa and "daw", "lee" and "bee daw" he got the mac daddy train table....almost impossible if we were not adding a new room, its huge!
It was a good time and to top it off...on his actually birthday, he went to "school" for the first time. I had a 3 hour doctor appointment and th
ought that would be no fun for a birthday boy. He loved it of course, you could tell he felt so special to go to school with big brother and stay until lunch. He got to play with all the little kids and I sent cookies for a special birthday snack! They even did a little art project, currently hanging on the front door!
Also added to super cool new gifts, the super loaded luxury tricycle
courtesy of Papa C...it basically has everything....radio, blinkers, horn.....it does everything but drive itself. He is definitely high on the cool kid list right now!

Cute Cousins!

Me and the boys went on a little adventure this weekend to Tennessee. We got to visit aunt jenny and finally met master william....it was a long drive but we had a good time stopping to play and taking our time.
Cope loved aunt jenny's tivo with non stop wonder pets and eli just wanted to help with william, he just couldnt get enough of the bebe! we had lots of fun at several parks, finally got to go to the Popsicle shop....ummm delicious-cookies and cream.
needless to say we are home now after another long drive and manage to survive the weekend without daddy. i am sure aunt jennys house seems quiet now that we are gone and hopefully we were not too much for her and baby william......
and thanks to aunt jenny the boys have the best halloween costumes ever....i cant wait to show them off, although the costumes have been worn already, i will not be posting pictures until halloween...
