SHORTS!!!!!!

So i made my first pair of shorts....i have been waiting and waiting because i think i was a little intimidated at first when reading the beautiful instructions from my sister. so i finally just did it and oh wow, they are adorable and so easy...i may never buy my kids shorts again. and all the other possibilities that stem from this are endless...the presents that i could make for my friends kids...how cute would little girl shorts be with some girlie fabric? for all those girlie girls I know.....
Eli is super excited about these shorts, because he loves olives and he thinks its great that he could wear olives on his shorts....

Downtown Water Play!!

...this is cope with peyton and ellison

We went downtown this weekend, with some of our friends and their kids...we had a picnic dinner at Falls Park, beside the river and then went to play at the water spot...(i dont know what its actually called)...but the boys had a blast! it took Cope a few minutes to realize what was going on...the water shoots up from the ground in different spots for just a minute then stops and shoots up some where different....Cope and Eli were chasing the shooting water all over the place and as soon as they would get to it, it would stop there and start over there....they would run to that spot and it would stop there and start somewhere else....then we finished our fun at the LazyGoat, eating some gelato....

Trying to keep up...

So I was doing great first with the whole blog thing but now I am just slack and I really think this is for my sisters entertainment mostly, because I am not sure if too many other people look at it....
Well I am officially
17 weeks pregnant and YES I realize that my stomach is showing greatly and NO I am not having twins, but I do appreciate everyones concern :-)
We have been on our first family vacation since we have been back in South Carolina.....we went to the zoo in columbia...we hand fed a giraffe, it was very intersting and creepy at the same time. We went to the beach, the aquarium, a waterpark, fireworks show/carnival and bowling...we had a blast and we were all exhausted by the time we got home!Cope is not really into the beach, yet. He just says "no no no no" and shakes his head a lot. Eli is a beach bum just like his daddy. We couldnt keep him out of the water and sand.
We did find that Cope loved the lazy river at the water park...but no pictures of that because we were all in it...
