summertime fun

Eli at his first T-ball practice..so cute. But I must say for organized sports, these little three year olds were not very organized! It was great fun to watch and he loved it! He prepared for this for days, he slept in his baseball pants, he wore his cleats, he even wore his helmet in the car.

the boys got real "fancy", is what they call it...to go to a birthday party that started at a fire station and ended with some sliding into a pool..Eli was convinced that the fireman would love his pearl necklace he was sporting (grandma gave it to him, i did not buy it) that went perfect with his full beard and mustache. the boys got to ride in the firetruck around the block with the sirens and the lights on, it was very neat!

I recently went to a cookout at Carolyn and Jason's house. We had lots of fun with the kids and some good food..well i asked jason to burn my hotdog for me..you know for extra crispiness. jason apparently shows no slack in anything he does and does not give up until job is completed. although delicious and crispy..the blackest hotdog i have ever seen or eaten, it was worth noting..i almost didnt know what to say and still dont...but thanks jason. A+ for effort..
